Tradition Victorian terraced house - London

Our home is a traditional Victorian 3 story terraced house with a back garden. There are 5 bedrooms which all have double beds (apart from one room which has a bunk bed). We think of our home as a comfortable family home and because of our kids it is child friendly. We have 2 cats living with us and a tortoise (although we will make sure he is looked after somewhere else for the exchange).

The kitchen is large with cooking facilities and this is where we eat most of our meals as well as hosting guests. Our living room is large with a separate eating area.

About the location

Our family home is based in the vibrant and artistic Walthamstow which is zone 3 in London.

We live in a traditional Victorian terraced house in a vibrant part of London. We are 2 minutes walk from the train station which takes you directly to Central London in 15 minutes. The tube is 10 minutes walk away and also takes you directly to Central London (Victoria Line).

The neighbourhood is very child friendly with many parks and play grounds. We are close to the biggest street market in Europe and the local shops reflect the very culturally diverse area which Walthamstow is. There are a number of good restaurants nearby which offers Turkish, Indian etc food.

We love being close to the marshes and take the kids there every week. You are 20 minutes walk to the very hip Hackney and a bus ride to the Olympic village in Stratford.

There are a number of activities in Walthamstow if you fancy a break from the sightseeing which most people come to London for. We have cinemas, swimming pools, activity centers for kids (such as a trampoline park, climbing walls etc). We also have local museums and many different cafes.
