We live in a 1930's house, in a suburb of Ealing, in leafy west London - near an overground with a fast eastbound connection to central London, also connecting to Heathrow westbound.
We're also a short bus ride from the Central line (Oxford Circus), District line (Science, Natural History or V&A museums) or Piccadilly Line (Leicester Square / Piccadilly Circus) tubes.
Locally Ealing is famous for its many parks and also lovely local shopping streets like Pitshanger Lane (great baker, deli and butcher). We're a five minute walk from a big Waitrose supermarket too, or all the major supermarkets deliver.
Ealing has many summer festivals in the parks and its own shopping centre. Also the best pizza in London - Santa Maria.
