Lovely 2 Bed home in Matlock, England

We live in a three storey, two bedroomed terraced cottage; upon entrance to our home there is a lounge with Sky television leading onto our kitchen containing the usual amenities and utilities. Downstairs from this floor is the basement where there is a second lounge with an electric piano and guitar for any music lovers, as well as a television and DVD player to watch films in comfort. One of the sofas is a sofa bed which could accommodate guests. The main bathroom is on this floor and this has a shower and roll top bath. As the house is built on a hill, the garden is accessed from this floor and this is a small, south facing lawned space with decking and views over the valley.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a "Jack and Jill" style shower room. The larger room is the master bedroom and the other is a nursery for our daughter, with a cot and changing station.

Our home does have internet access and we use two laptop computers, one of which could be available for use if needed. We have two cars and one of these could be made available ? a car is recommended as Matlock is a very hilly town!

Matlock is an attractive town in the Peak District within easy access of the cities of Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby.

Our home is comfortable and has lots of character and is well placed to suit the needs of a range of holiday makers, with the stately homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall nearby, as well as interesting English towns to visit such as Bakewell and Hathersage. There is lots of countryside for walking near to our home including the attractive areas of Dovedale, The Hope Valley and Stanage Edge. There are also good places to cycle including the Tissington and Monsal Trails. Matlock is a small but popular town with a number of shops, bars and restaurants situated around a large public park.

There are a range of things to do in Debyshire, including a cinema in Chesterfield and Derby, a number of National Trust properties, the spa town of Buxton, horse riding in Edale and natural caverns in Castleton and Buxton ? all within a short drive of Matlock.

We love our home and the place we live as it is close enough to larger cities to enjoy shopping and evenings out, but is situated in a beautiful part of the country where we can spend time outdoors.
