Our 17th Century traditional lake District cottage is on the southern edge of the national park, overlooking the Duddon Estuary. In a quiet hamlet with easy access by car to all the attractions that this beautiful area has to offer for lovers of the arts, the outdoors and good food.
A local train service will take you to Carlisle to the north, or Lancaster to the south. Two hours from Manchester /Liverpool international airports.
The nearest village of Broughton in Furness provides excellent local food and an award winning bakery.
The cottage has original beams, oil fired central heating and an open fire.
The kitchen has been recently modernised but the cottage remains original. It has three bedrooms, with two double beds and a double fouton. There is a double sofa bed downstairs.
