Charming Victorian house with garden in pleasant road a few minutes walk from the town centre of Bridport with every facility. This proximity means that a car is not necessary for day to day living although it is useful for exploring the surrounding area. With rural views to front and rear of the house ( our bedroom looks out over a field where wild deer can often be seen in the early morning) - it is an easy, 40 minute walk to the sea.
The world famous Jurassic coast is on the doorstep with magnificent cliffs and great fossil hunting potential.
Dorset is a beautiful area with many cultural and historical associations and it is easy to travel to London for the day from nearby Dorchester. There are lots of buses which offer easy touring if you don't want to use a car.

Bridport's Saturday and Wednesday markets bring traders of all kinds creating a lively atmosphere with lots of street musicians and antique stalls among the more usual excellent local produce. There is also an antiques quarter which is open every day and offers opportunities to discover treasures.
