About the location

Bahan is a delightful leafy area of Yangon located just north of the centre of the city. Known for much of the twentieth century as Golden Valley, it was developed by the British as a residential area for their colonial staff. It is full of winding roads and large colonial style houses. Yangon is a great city for relaxing massages and there are two spas just a couple of minutes walk from the house. A fully stocked supermarket is a ten minute walk - or 3 minute taxi ride away.
