Quiet home near a large and friendly city

Quiet and comfortable home between a large city (Lille) and countryside.

Living room and kitchen open on the garden (and WC at that floor). At the first floor, bathroom with a shower (no tub), 2 bedrooms + an office and at the second floor, a large bedroom under the roof.

3 adult bicycles and 1 kid/teen bicycles are available. A car exchange can be possible. A nice cat live with us but she doesn`t require many attention. Many activities are suitable for children in the area.

About the location

Wambrechies is a little town upon the canal Deule, in North of Lille, near Belgium. It takes 10 min by foot (or bus) to reach the nice town centre and its landing stage on Deule. The prettiest little town in the greater Lille !

Lille is about 25 minutes by bus (bus stop is 1 minute from home !), or 10 min. by car : many art galleries (LAM, Beaux-Arts, Hospice Comtesse, Piscine de Roubaix, Louvre-Lens...), old Lille, gardens and many estaminets. Beautiful cities in Flanders : Ieper (30 min), Gent & Brugge (45 min) - our `coup de Coeur` !- and Brussels (1h30). It takes one hour to reach Paris from Lille by TGV and the same for the Opal Coast. To celebrate WW1 centenary, we`re in the heart of the Flanders Fields and the battles of Artois (Ieper, Passendaele, Vimy, Lorette...), and near to Somme (Peronne, 1h15).
