Cottage in Wells

Our semi-detached cottage is on a quiet lane, not far from the Cathedral. The lane is a cul-de-sac and leads up the hill into countryside. The cottage has two bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed and one with two singles. There is also a comfortable sofa bed in the downstairs study. The main bedroom is en-suite, and there is a family bathroom on the first floor and a toilet downstairs. The garden has a pond, and is poorly fenced, therefore not suitable for small children.

About the location

Wells is the smallest city in England, in a lovely setting at the foot of the Mendip Hills (see www.wellssomerset.com) Local attractions include mystical Glastonbury, Cheddar caves, Wookey Hole, and Bath. The bus to Bath stops about 100m away. London is a day trip on the train. Wells is very walkable, and the Somerset Levels are an easy cycle ride away. The Mendips are good walking country and the East and West Mendip Ways meet in Wells.
