The Barn is a brick built red stock detached barn in nearly 2 acres of its own land. It is located down a quite country lane 3 miles from Sandwich surrounded by arable farming land. It has gas central heating and a woodbuning stove , open plan lounge with plenty of relaxation seating. There are internet and sky plus and a large screen Tv in the lounge area. i single bedroom downstairs and 1 double and 1 superking upstairs.The property has a downstairs shower room and an upstairs bathroom with spa bath for two. The kitchen diner is basically equipped and has table and chairs for dining .

About the location

we are situated in a rural area with Sandwich being the nearest town accessible by car. The village Of Ash is very close by and has local convenience stores and transport links to Canterbury and surrounding villages. There are also bus and train links from Sandwich and there are many Golf clubs locally including the world famous Royal St Georges ,home of the open golf championships. Dover is approxamately 25 minutes by car , access to the ferry ports for France, the cruise terminal and the shuttle /eurostar at the Channel Tunnel nearby at Folkestone.Canterbury Cathedral,Dover Castle and many other castles are all within half an hour drive away. Within a shorter distance is the coast of Thanet with many seaside towns and a large shopping centre at Westwood cross ten minutes away. Deal ,Kingsdown and St Margarets are all delightful seaside places and also known as "Bond Country" along with Sandwich all being mentioned in several of Ian Flemings books.
