Spacious Family Home On Beautiful Vancouver Island

Our family home is comfortable and spacious with all of the usual modern conveniences. Upstairs we have four bedrooms, one with a single bed, two with queen sized beds and the master bedroom with a king sized bed. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and balcony with fantastic ocean views. Upstairs also boasts a den (with TV, Xbox etc...), further full bathroom and separate built in sauna. Downstairs we have a living/TV room with river rock fireplace and log burner, kitchen with adjoining breakfast area (table seats 4/6), laundry leading to a double garage, a further lounge area (no TV) with adjoining dining area (table seats 6/8), full bathroom and separate study. In addition to the log burner heating is by heat pump which can be reversed to provide air conditioning during the warm summer months. Outside we have well maintained gardens with space for children to play safely. The gardens are equipped with a trampoline, basketball hoop and in summer we also have a large above ground pool to use to cool off when it gets too hot. Separate decks and patio areas with hot tub, BBQ, provide space to relax, eat and enjoy the outdoors. We have outside parking for four cars. Car, Bicycle, Canoe and Camping equipment exchange can also be arranged. Our home has WIFI.

The City of Parksville is centrally located on the east coast of Vancouver Island and is a great central location to experience and explore this part of beautiful British Columbia. We are approximately 145 km north of Victoria and 37 km north of Nanaimo and have the most moderate, year-round climate in Canada. Adventures wait in any season, from walks on the magnificent beaches, mountain biking, skiing, boating, fishing, and year-round golf. Parksville possesses an abundance of natural beauty, warm hospitality and is world-renowned for its wide tidal sand flats and sun-warmed salt water. Parksville beach was recently named one of the top six beaches in North America by Better Homes & Gardens magazine. Our home is located in San Pariel a hidden gem of a neighborhood just minutes from downtown Parksville. The area is bordered by Rathtrevor Provincial Park, BC's most popular provincial park, with acres of forested parkland on the waterfront, the beach and the Englishman river. A short stroll from our home takes you along the Englishman river with a bird watching area and several public accesses to beautiful San Pareil beaches. We regularly see seals, sea lions, deer, eagles, herons and other species of birds when we go for a walk. San Pareil is a wonderful, friendly neighborhood where you can take advantage of the outdoor recreation right at your doorstep! Kayak, walk, jog or bike till your hearts desire! If you are interested in Skiing we are approximately a 45-60 minute drive to Mount Washington.
