Modern two bedroom apartment, Highgate, north London

Our lovely new apartment is comfortable and well-designed for easy living. The apartment is 70 square metres, with two double bedrooms, a well-equipped open-plan living room /dining/kitchen, a spacious bathroom (bath with thermostatic shower over), a separate second lavatory and washbasin, and a small private balcony with potted plants and open views.

There is a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer, wi-fi, oak flooring, large windows with triple glazing, an eco-friendly heating and ventilation system, and a small communal courtyard garden with benches. We have lift (or stairs) for access.

TRANSPORT - good public transport (underground, overground and buses) and easy access to main line and international train stations (e.g. direct tube line to Kings Cross St Pancras) and airports. Car parking in London is expensive, so it’s usually best to use public transport.

WOULD SUIT - 1, 2 or 3 adults (we’d prefer no smokers, pets or children).

WE - speak English and French. We like ancient or modern properties with all mod cons, and we are open to offers in countryside or cities, preferably Europe (see Meet the Member).

About the location

LOCATION - It is located in Highgate, a pleasant, quiet, tree-lined area, walking distance from Hampstead Heath, local shops, a good Saturday Farmers’ Market and restaurants. There’s easy access to London’s theatres, concert halls, museum, art galleries, and other attractions. Our apartment is close to the famous Highgate Cemetery, between Highgate, Hampstead and Archway.

The nearest tube station is Archway (zone 2) and it is within walking distance of overground stations at Gospel Oak or Hampstead Heath. It is an attractive residential area, quiet, and with easy access to all parts of central or outer London with all their cultural activities, buildings and events. Hampstead Heath has tennis courts, swimming ponds, and walks with great views over London. Nearby are several golf clubs.
