Our home is in the Trinity area of Edinburgh, a few miles from the city centre. It was built, we understand, around 1860, making it firmly mid-Victorian. It is set back from the main road with gardens to the front and the rear. There is off road parking. All bathrooms - which now have full mains pressure, no dribbly British plumbing here - and the kitchen have been fully modernised though, providing a balance of old and new.

Briefly, our home comprises the following main rooms/features:

Ground Floor:
Family room with TV, DVD & Wi; Large dining kitchen with Aga - this room also has direct access to a deck with gas barbeque and onwards into the garden; utility room with large "American" style fridge and freezer;

First Floor:
Drawing room with home cinema system and wood burning stove and double sofa bed (can be a 4th bedroom); family bathroom with walk in shower and cast iron roll top bath; double bedroom - platform double bed.
Second Floor:
Children's bathroom (sloping ceiling!); two bedrooms both doubles

The large, enclosed rear garden is ideal for young children and very safe indeed.
There is a drive way in which to park
We have a trampoline (no net).
