We have a beautiful loft-style apartment in a converted Victorian schoolhouse. It is on the second and third (top) floors of a well-kept gated building, a short distance from Bermondsey Street, London Bridge, Borough market and Tower Bridge. The property has very high ceilings, tall windows and exposed brick work. The apartment has one main bedroom, and a second smaller room with a sofa bed that could be suitable for a child. It is split level, with the bedrooms and bathroom beneath the lounge and kitchen. We have spectacular views of the City of London, especially at night time.
The Schoolhouse is on a very quiet road yet it is in Zone 1 - a fantastic location for exploring London. There are lots of bus options, and the nearest tube/train station is London Bridge. It's less than 15 mins walk to Tower Bridge (the river Thames), and most central London landmarks (e.g. Houses of Parliament, London Eye, etc) are accessible within half an hour. There is secure parking, an elevator, and a caretaker is present Monday to Friday.
