Manor Farm Cottage

Our house is a converted piggery on one level with a third of an acre of gardens which overlook open fields to the east. We are situated in the midst of a quiet village and access to the house is down a private driveway so most people would not even know we were here. Out back we grow our own fruits and vegetables and there are swings and a trampoline to enjoy. The style is definitely cottage with a decent kitchen/diner including a large oak table that can sit up to twelve people.
There are three bedrooms plus a fourth double bed in our study, one bathroom plus an en-suite.

About the location

Beautiful flat country and riverside walks on our doorstep. York is 17 miles away, Hull 30; Leeds/Sheffield 45. The fabulous Yorkshire Wolds are within half an hour and North Yorkshire Moors and East coast within the hour including the likes of Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes. The fantastic market and minster town of Beverley is a 30 minute drive.
There is a post office/village store, pub and award winning Deli two miles away (which sells draught beers and ciders). The local small town of Howden has all the usual amenities with great butcher and vegetable shop next to Candy Andy's and Flourish and Prosper (another fabulous Deli).
