Family comfort in Beautiful Fife, Eastern Scotland

Attractive, comfortable modern house in charming Cupar, a small historic market town near St Andrews.

Our house has 4 bedrooms - 3 double and a child's bedroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and there is also another bathroom and a separate shower room.
There are two lounges, a dining room and a kitchen.

The lounges are bright comfortable and modern with HDTV, DVD and other gadgets.
The upstairs lounge also has a double sofa bed.

There are toys, books and games for younger children.

There is a front and back garden - the back garden offers a lot of privacy and has a large decking area where we often enjoy barbecues and sit gazing at the stars in front of a fire bowl.

We have 4 adult bikes and one suitable for a 5/6 year old as well as a large trampoline, sandpit and garden / beach toys.

We use the double garage to work and play in - there's ample parking space on the drive an beside the house.

The neighbours are also very nice and friendly.

We love the peaceful location of the house.

Richard teaches and has 3 months of holidays. We would rather house swap in these periods and would prefer to exchange for up to a week.

About the location

Cupar is a small market town close to the coast and St Andrews (10 min drive)
There are excellent rail and coach/bus links to Edinburgh and Dundee.

Cupar is on the East Coast rail line - Edinburgh is an hour away on the train - the same by car - Dundee 20 minutes.

The East Neuk of Fife with its coastal trail, fishing villages and golf courses are under 30 minutes drive.

The town centre is a 5 minute walk from the house - there is a good variety of small local shops as well as bigger supermarkets like Tesco, Co-Op, Lidl and Aldi.

There are some really nice little restaurants in Cupar and also a very big choice in neighbouring St Andrews.

Cupar is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are lots of visitor attractions nearby including fun places to take children. On most weekends we go walking at the beach , around lochs or in beautiful woodland - we're spoilt for choice.
