It boasts modern facilities with a touch of victorian period atmosphere such as a cast iron fireplace with log burner, a real wind-up wall clock with a genuine tick, and a double bedroom with brass bedstead. It has a modern kitchen which has recently been upgraded. Ideal for a romantic getaway for the young or mature couple.

About the location

Set in the village of Charlton, (close to Ludwell which is on the A30 Salisbury - Shaftesbury Road) a small settlement of 15 or so houses, it is nevertheless quite close to Shaftesbury, about 3 miles distant, which has all the facilities of a market town. We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with glorious rural aspects, great pubs, and sweeping views from local beauty spots such as Win Green. Nearest railway station is Tisbury, on the Waterloo - Salisbury - Exeter railway line, about 6 miles distant.
