Liverpool is an easy drive or train ride away and there is easy access to the Lake district ( one and a half hours) , Manchester ( 1 hr) and North Wales including Angelsay( 1.5 hrs) the Snowdonia National Park and LLeyn Peninsula ( 2 hrs).
