The Coach House, Clivedale

I live in a converted 18th century coach house in the grounds of the original country house. The property was completely refurbished with state of the art kitchen and beautiful décor, in sympathy with it's original beam structure and cottage character, two years ago. At the end of 2014, I installed original oak shelving and storage around the open fire place to enhance appearance and extend storage space.

About the location

The property is located along a quiet path to the rear of the main house, and is in easy reach of Steyning High Street. Steyning is a beautiful, quintessentially English town situated on the South Downs offering great access for walkers and cyclists to the Downs. The town has an excellent array of eateries (including its award-wining tea rooms) and Sussex produce is readily available. The town features many historic buildings, some dating back to medieval times, and original cobbled streets.
