Historic Home

Our charming home was built in 1911 by one of the founders of Harry & David's gourmet foods and has been lovingly updated over the years. It is located in the midst of Old East Medford on a large park-like lot surrounded by Elm, Oak, and Sequoia trees. It is fully fenced and has an in-ground swimming pool. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, with a half-bath, kitchen, breakfast room, formal living and dining rooms, library, and laundry on the main floor. A detached 2-car garage and art studio/guest house is also located on the property which is only a short walk or drive to parks, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and movie theaters.

About the location

Southern Oregon is a family paradise, a popular destination for world class theater lovers, and the go-to spot for white water rafters, bicyclists, and hikers, and wine lovers. Popular attractions include the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, only 15 minutes from our home (see www.osfashland.org), Rogue River rafting tours, Oregon Caves, Crater Lake National Park, the historic gold mining town of Jacksonville, and many fantastic eateries, wineries, lakes, and parks. Farther afield but easily accessible by car are Mt. Shasta and the gorgeous Oregon Coast.
