Hebden Bridge is a beautiful old town, on the borders of Yorkshire and greater manchester. It is a very artistic and musical town, full of small quirky shops and nice restaurants. There are lots of festivals, and something is always happening in the town.
It also has excellent train links to both Leeds (50 mins, 3 trains an hour) and Manchester (40 mins, 3 trains and hour).
