Everything is within easy, flat walking distance including a supermarket, post office, gym, restaurants and bars and a blue flag beach just a 5 minute drive or easy walk away. A truly lovely home with fantastic, helpful neighbours.

About the location

The area is wonderful for easy walking/biking. You can head for the seafront (2mins) and walk one way and within 30 mins you arrive at the first marina in the town. Head the other way and the coastal path takes you to the numerous blue flag beaches. The town has two marinas, is full of shops, restaurants, bars, theatre with a diverse and cosmopolitan mix of Spanish, English, French and Scandinavians. The town is mainly pedestrianised with many local fiestas and shows throughout the year. Torrevieja has been named by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places in the world to live because of it's two large salt lakes which ensure hot, dry air. The southern Costa Blanca is a 'year-round' area because of it's exceptionally mild climate with around 350 days a year of sunshine. Public transport is excellent so a car is not necessary. Alicante city is just 40 mins drive away, and Cartegena - a real Spanish port - is the same distance south. However I am willing to do a car exchange if required.
