Lovely 5 Bed home in Haute-Vienne, France

Our recently renovated house is in the beautiful & peaceful countryside just outside the village of Cheronnac. The house is a detached over 3 floors.

We are in a very rural position & the scenery overlooking the garden is stunning. There is limited public transport so a car is essential.

About the location

Travelling from south-east England has two options.

A ferry/channel tunnel to Calais then drive. The drive is approx. 450 miles and will take 7-8 hours.

A flight from London Stansted to the airport of Limoges is roughly 90 mins. Then a car journey of around 45 mins/30 miles.

There are several swimming and beach lakes nearby. Lots of other activities nearby including golf (St Junien), a Zoo, fishing, waterparks, restaurants in nearby towns.

Supermarkets along with banking facilities, restaurants/bars are found in local town of Rochechouart. Which is about a 10 min drive away. Other nearby towns include Saint Mathieu which has also a supermarket and some nice little shops.
