My house is in the centre of a typical Wiltshire village, with a good shop, doctor's surgery, Chinese takeaway and bus stop all within stepping distance. The house is 9 years old, built to a traditional style, with a high quality interior. There are two double bedrooms, one single and the master bedroom is en suite. Downstairs is a kitchen/diner and sitting room. The kitchen has a dish washer and a small utility room houses the washing machine.

Outside is a shared car port and a small garden (mainly pots).

The house is extremely well insulated and easy to keep warm

About the location

Porton is close to the historical city of Salisbury and the even more historical site of Stonehenge. The nearby A303 is the main route to the West Country, ie Wales, Devon and Cornwall.

Porton is situated in the East of Wiltshire, bordering Hampshire and is about an hour from the South Coast.

There are two railway stations about 15 mins away, with regular services to London which is just over one hour by rail.

There are plenty of good pubs in the area.
