Stylish Central London home

All the sights of London are a walk or a short tube ride away from our home. There are fantastic bars and restaurants in our neighbourhood as well as vibrant arts and culture. We have just completed a total renovation and the kitchen and living room now both open on to our sunny courtyard garden. There are two double bedrooms and two kids' rooms with various pull-out singles, offering flexible accommodation. We love this area and I've lived in it or near it for 40+ years so can offer plenty or tips and ideas for getting the most out of London.

About the location

The Barbican Centre, St Paul's, the Tate Modern and Sadler's Wells are all a walk away. The nightlife of Shoreditch/Hoxton likewise. The restaurants of Smithfield and Upper St offer every cuisine under the sun. There are 3 or 4 great old London pubs within a few minutes walk. The people around us are a mixture of city workers, artists, architects and ordinary London families. If you love London, or you want to see if you do, this neighbourhood is a great place to start from and come back to.
