Detached home in Prudhoe Castle town

Our house is 4 bedrooms, it`s detached with a nice garden. I grow vegetables and have a greenhouse for tomatoes and chillis.

The main bedroom has en suite shower & toilet, there is also a family bathroom. We have a further 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom.

Down stairs we have a conservatory, lounge, dining room and large kitchen, there is also a downstairs toilet. The conservatory has double doors that open onto the garden. We have 2 garages and some pedal bike that you can use.

We have lived in this house for 22 years and all of the neighbours in the street are friendly and quiet.

We have a private drive that can fit 4 cars easily, so no need to worry about unloading your shopping or parking woes!

We are experienced home exchangers and love this way of exploring and getting to know people and new places.

About the location

Prudhoe is an historic castle town and Prudhoe Castle can be reached on foot in just a few minutes from our house. The Castle is owned by English Heritage. Locally Prudhoe has several nice pubs & restaurants along with coffee shops. We have plenty of supermarkets. The high street has all of the usual, post office, off licence etc.

We are about half a mile from the train station and you can travel either East or West across the country from Prudhoe to Hexham, Carlisle, Newcastle and many more lovely places in the North East of England. We are within travelling distance for visiting the North East coast line which is gorgeous.

In Prudhoe we have a leisure centre with swimming pool & gym ( this is where I work!)

We are half a mile from the River Tyne that runs through Prudhoe which is a lovely walk and cycle route. Hexham Abbey Town is 10 miles by car or a quick train ride, where you can visit the beautiful Abbey and market town.

Newcastle with it`s stunning land marks & quayside bridges is also a 10 mile drive or short train ride from the station in Prudhoe.

We are very well served for public transport buses & trains.
