Unique studio in Beaumaris, Anglesey.

The studio is very comfortable and light, it`s a self-contained space with two mezzanine bedrooms set in a lovely walled garden with its own private entrance.
It contains a comfy sitting area with a wood burning stove and fantastic mid century furniture. I have a big collection of books and on one mezzanine there is a TV with dvds ( i don`t watch tv just films). There`s a modern fully equipped kitchen and dining area with french doors into the garden and above the kitchen there is another bright and spacious mezzanine bedroom (which has massive windows above with blackout blinds, wonderful for just lying in bed staring up at the sky or watching the birds go by).
There is a separate ensuite wetroom with vanity area and washing machine. Lots of space in the garden for bikes, kayaks.
The studio is a fabulous place to stay in Beaumaris or as a base to travel from. It feels safe and tends to wrap itself around you, its unique (Its been a studio for decades, before that it was a welding workshop) and very comfy with full central heating.
The studio is my working space (I`m a writer and painter) and where I work. It contains all the facilities that you would expect in a self-contained house.

There are stairs going up to the mezzanine bedroom that won`t suit the elderly or disabled. I have included a photo for you to see.
The beach overlooking the straits and Snowdon range and outdoor cafes/pier are 5 minutes walk away from the property.

I have a motorhome which I am also prepared to also swap for the right property. I am not interested in large groups staying in the property. Diolch!

The neighbourhood
Beaumaris is a world heritage town.
The studio is in a quiet neighbourhood, tucked away in a conservation area. 5 minutes from the beach, restaurants, castle, pier and pubs and quirky individual shops, all very easy to get to. The bus stop is 5 minutes away.Train is in Bangor, a university town, 8 miles away.
The nearby spar supermarket (5mins walk) is well stocked for everyday food and there is a bakery for really good fresh bread and cakes (guests always comment on it!) 2 delis, 2 charity shops and a great Indian takeaway/ restaurant. All the usual high street supermarkets and shops are 15 minutes drive away in Bangor. There is a Waitrose 3 miles away in Menai Bridge.
The local beach is sandy with lots of boat trips to Puffin island and other places along the Menai straits. There is a childrens park and paddling pool on the seafront, and a terrace at the Bulkeley Hotel. The amazing Snowdon mountain range can be seen from the beach and cafes, and there are plenty of easy walks from town.

Getting around
There is a good bus service 5 minutes away that goes to lots of places on the island and further afield. The ferry to Dublin is 40 minutes away. ( a fantastic day out, takes 90 mins to cross) Trains are in Bangor, a bus ride away.
Beaumaris is on the Anglesey coastal path.
