Pretty stone cottage in area of outstanding beauty

We live in Middleton, a pretty village 7 mins from the beach. Our cottage is situated on the village green with the church behind and the very popular village Pub opposite.

We have totally renovated the cottage, which offers 2 bedrooms, one with ensuite toilet/basin, a bathroom with shower/bath. Open plan kitchen, sitting area and the most recent addition of a wood framed garden room. There is a separate library/study with computer and access to the internet.

The cottage garden with summerhouse looks out towards the church.

About the location

Middleton is a small rural village, 7 mins by car from the beautiful Suffolk beaches. To the north Dunwich, Walberswick, Southwold and Covehithe and to the south Sizewell, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh.

The village is off the beaten track, peaceful and friendly. There is a local grocery / post office in the next village - 5 mins drive and supermarkets in the town 15 minutes drive away.

The market towns of Woodbridge and Framlingham ( with its castle) are approximately 25 minutes away.

Snape maltings with its famous festival hall and country shopping centre is only 20 mins drive
One of our favourite places to walk is Dunwich heath and woods, 5 minutes by car. You may be fortunate enough to meet deer, interesting birds and wildlife, especially in October/November (the rutting season) and the sunsets are amazing.

Minsmere wildlife reserve is a short drive.
