Tendring - Close to beaches and beautiful walks of North East Essex and Suffolk

We have a good sized family home in a quiet lane within the village of Tendring. Downstairs is a spacious lounge, kitchen and dining room. There is also a conservatory on the back of the house with views out over the garden. Upstairs are four bedrooms and bathroom, plus an en-suite to the main bedroom.

The home has a large south facing garden with plenty of sun all day and lots of places to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or a chilled glass of something. There is a pond in the garden, so extra care will need to be taken if you are bringing young children. Our boys have particularly loved the sunken trampoline at the end of the garden, which is great fun for adults too.

About the location

Tendring itself is a small rural village with plenty of walks from the doorstep around the immediate local area. We advise that you bring a car as, whilst shops and other activities are accessible by bus, the services aren`t regular. The village is ideally situated for visiting north Essex and Suffolk and also for travelling further afield, being a short drive from Manningtree, Ipswich and Colchester with access to main roads and trains. There are plenty of beaches to visit as well as the local backwaters. The area of outstanding natural beauty around Flatford and Dedham is also very close by and there are many historical towns to visit. London and Cambridge are approximately 1 hour away by car or train. We can provide you with plenty of ideas for days out and places to visit during your stay, depending on your preferences.
