Set over three floors, the first floor features a cosy bedroom with a small double bed and en-suite with shower unit, whilst the second floor boasts a spacious king-size double bedroom with family en-suite bathroom and fantastic views across to the castle ruins and village gardens. On the ground floor is open plan living accommodation with a kitchen, dining area and a cosy sitting area with a window seat and welcoming woodburning stove.
A wonderful location to relax and enjoy watching the racehorses casually walking back to the stables from the nearby gallops over looking the beautiful lake behind at Coverdale. The old features of this cottage are sure to delight, the master bedroom has a slight sloped ceiling and low window, offering perfect views of the castle and gardens opposite, right from your bed.

The facilities and amenities of Middleham are on the cottage’s doorstep: these include 3 excellent old pubs, antique and craft shops, delightful churches, children`s play park, cafes, a new bistro & wine bar, renowned chip shop and great local restaurants, as well as a superb well stocked general village store (with ornate frontage).
Ideally suited to walkers, sightseeing enthusiasts and tourers... There is so much to do at this ideally located Yorkshire Dales cottage, from walks and cycle trails in the National Park, to quaint villages and market towns to visit.
Leyburn is the nearest traditional cobbled market town, just 2 miles away, larger than Middleham, this also offers plenty of amenities including shops, pubs, a tea-pottery, a chocolate maker, cafes, banks, takeaways and restaurants, many craft workshops, a library, auction house & yard, a garden centre and the famous `Wensleydale Railway` (Leyburn Station). Market Day in Leyburn is on a Friday.
Nearby Richmond and Ripon are beautiful towns with many gorgeous shops, markets and restaurants, theatre, castle & cathedral, beautiful waterside walks.
York is not far for a wonderful day exploring.
