We have five chickens who in return for being fed/watered daily and their wooden sliding door opened and closed, they will repay you with lovely fresh eggs for your breakfast.
We are a family of four with 2 kids aged 4 and 7 so there is a sea of toys and games for kids around those ages.

There is loads to do in Oxford. You are 10 mins from town by foot (there is a bus if you need it), a little longer if you go the picturesque way along the river, and a very easy bike ride down route 5 of the cycle route across nature reserves and long rivers. You are 2 mins away from our local park with open-air swimming pool, lake to wild swim in, tennis courts, kids play park, table tennis, Sunday farmers market. It’s 5 mins walk from open fields and nature reserves and a picturesque pub garden in every direction.
Go punting, take a boat trip / hire a motor boat and venture to Abingdon, pick up a picnic from the famous covered market, visit the fabulous famous museums (Ashmolean, Pitt Rivers, Science, Story, Modern Art, Natural History), enjoy the botanical gardens, 36 Oxford colleges, Bodleian Library and other university sites, watch an open-air play in the park, walk or cycle endlessly along picturesque canal paths, go up Carfax tower, visit the old prison and climb the mound – and that’s before you get in the car and visit all that the Cotswolds has to offer.
