Georgian Apartment in the Market Town of Barnard Castle

This gorgeous two bedroomed apartment is accessed through an old Georgian alley leading onto a small courtyard.The sun appears here at midday and it’s a perfect spot for a coffee and cake! A flight of stairs leads you up to the spacious kitchen, large reception room overlooking the street and then another little flight of stairs takes you to the bedrooms. It’s large and spacious, cosy and perfectly situated for walks in town, visiting Bowes Museum and Barnard Castle ruins. Parking is situated outside on ‘The Bank’ and cars can be left outside or at the bottom of the bank where there is lots of parking. You won’t be needing your car anyway! The kitchen is spacious and offers seating for lunch and dinner. It has a small slimline dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Our gorgeous apartment is located in the market town of Barnard Castle. The apartment is within walking distance of many different activities including shopping for everyone, Barnard Castle and the beautiful Bowes Museum. Our second home offers a cosy stay above rows of antiques shops, restaurants and home interior stores. If you love old, this is the place for you! And if you like something cosy after a day of walking and cycling, this is for you too! You can walk along the beautiful Teesdale Way, cycle the Whatley to Wear path or have a night out in our many Restaurants, pubs and theatre.
