As access to the first floor including bathroom and toilet is via spiral staircase the property may not be suitable for toddlers.

About the location

The Lima river has created a beautiful valley in the foothills of the Appenine mountains with waterfalls, wild swimming, rafting and many other outdoor pursuits. Within walking distance of our house are two well used local restaurants. Bagni di Lucca, 4 kilometres distant, has several great restaurants, two supermarkets and of course several cafes. There is a swimming pool in Bagni di Lucca, but a lot of people like to swim in the River Lima. The Lima is also a popular location for rafting, canoeing, kayaking and lots more at the Canyon Park outdoor centre.

We are about 1 hour from the coast and the resorts of Viareggio, Forte di Mare are nearby. Lucca is a gorgeous walled city, half an hour drive with just everything you could want, including music, theatre, markets etc.
