Three-bedroom house with garden in Pateley Bridge, Nidderdale

We are located on the edge of Pateley Bridge, a small town with good local shops and leisure facilities in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our house is about one mile out of the town and has lovely views up and down the dale and over the River Nidd.

We have three bedrooms, each with a double bed, so can accommodate six people. There is also a home office, a modern basement kitchen and two bathrooms, on the ground and first floor, each with with a shower. The bedrooms are on the first floor and in the attic so there are quite a lot of stairs to go up and down.

We have recently replaced our oil central heating with an air source heat pump, which means the house is cosy at all times.

The garden is secluded, surrounded by trees and looks down over the river. We are in a terrace of three Victorian sandstone houses in a very rural spot.

About the location

Nidderdale is a beautiful area and the AONB is home to lots of bird and plant life. There are plenty of great walks to do from the house, as well as cycling routes and river swimming, which can all be done without a car. The shops in Pateley are really good, with two butchers, a fish shop and greengrocers - and all in walking distance. There`s also a leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool. Public transport is patchy however, with anly about 4 buses a day between Harrogate and Pateley. Ideally you would need a car although it would be possible without.

Local tourist attractions include Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey and the Yorkshire Dales!
