1 bed flat in Hackney, London with a view

I have lived on the top floor (5th) here in Stoke Newington, Hackney since 2010 (5th floor). The flat is south facing, open plan and flooded with light throughout the year. I never get tired of seeing the city lights of London from the lounge area, whether day or night. It is a friendly building and being on the top floor, adds that extra layer of safety.

There is a balcony that people will have access to.

While I have 2 bedrooms, one is used as an office and I will most likely keep this room separate to be able to use as a space to put residual things when swapping. Hence, why I have put it as a 1 bed suitable for 2 people only.

Stoke Newington is in Zone 2. While it is not on the tube, it is a 5 min walk to Stoke Newington station. From there, you can take a 15 minute overground to London Liverpool Street. Or a 4 min overground to Seven Sisters, where the Victoria Line will take you to King's Cross in about 10 minutes and Oxford Street in about 15. There are several local buses on the doorstep too.

The bathroom, while clean and functional, will be fully renovated over the next couple of months.

About the location

Stoke Newington, and indeed, much of Hackney, has a village feel to it. Hackney is one of the most desirable and vibrant areas of London, with fantastic parks, areas, restaurants and cafes, which far outstrip those in central London. There are great transport links to Central London.
