2 bedroom house in Greater Manchester

Our house is light and modern. We have all the necessary appliances to make your stay comfortable - a washing machine, dishwasher, television and wifi.

We have two bedrooms upstairs- one with a double bed and one with a double futon. A smaller room has a single armchair bed and downstairs in the living room we have a corner sofa bed.

Our garden is south facing and a wonderful place for a summer evening dinner.

About the location

Our house is situated in Stockport, Greater Manchester. We are a 20 minute drive from the centre of Manchester, 50 minutes on easy public transport. The city is wonderful with excellent art galleries, museums, theatres, concert halls and live music venues. Our little centre of Heaton Moor has an independent cinema and lots of great shops and restaurants. The surrounding countryside is wonderful and we would leave our National Trust cards for anyone we swap with to enjoy the stately homes, country parks and gardens on offer.

Stockport is a great starting point for further exploration of the UK. We frequently holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, Derbyshire and Snowdonia. These are all easy to get to in the car within two hours. London is also easy, it`s two hours from Stockport train station- the trains run regularly.

We are a twenty five minute drive from Manchester Airport.
