Brook House

Brook House is a much loved sunny and bright family home. It was two cottages in a previous life, now these have been joined together with the addition of a modern oak ‘wing’ at one end which houses the main en-suite double bedroom upstairs and a music room down stairs complete with a restored pianola.

There are two log burners, one in the cosy Winter room and the other in the dining area of the kitchen.

It is detached and sits in a large garden with a veg plot and many fruit trees plus a wildlife pond. It is south facing and has a sun terrace with a large fire pit.

About the location

North Wootton is a country village surrounded by farm land and beautiful country walks. The small city of Wells is 4 miles away where there is a cathedral, and a twice weekly market, Michelin stared restaurants, cinema, a busy concert hall and a lively centre.

Bristol and Bath are 45 minutes by car and Castle Carey station 20 minutes with frequent trains to London. Bristol airport is a 30 minute car journey.
