Comfortable, spacious house on a private lane just yards from the Irish Sea at the most easterly point of Ireland. It is light and airy with fabulous sea views. Our house is a beautiful base from which to explore the stunning Ards peninsula and Strangford Lough, to discover Northern Ireland or to just sit and watch the sea.

The house has three double bedrooms, two with sea views and one ensuite, a spacious lounge on the first floor with picture windows and doors to the balcony and sea. A snug TV room with a woodturning stove. A large modern kitchen connecting to the dining room. Family bathroom with whirlpool bath. High speed broadband.

About the location

The house sits on a lane near the harbour a mile from the middle of the coastal village of Ballyhalbert on the east coast of the Ards peninsula. Seals are frequent visitors, dolphins and otters also makes appearances. The northern lights can sometimes be seen from the balcony. The peninsula itself is a beautiful area to explore and Strangford Lough to the west is the UK`s largest sea lough and an area of outstanding natural beauty and home to much wildlife from birds to dolphins.

Several National Trust properties are within easy reach as is the Echlinville distillery, stunning beaches can be found within a few miles. Further afield the Antrim coast is a couple of hours away with the Giants Causeway, the Mourne Mountains are about an hour and half to the south west and can be reached along the scenic Mourne Coastal route. the vibrant and culturally diverse city of Belfast is only a 40 minute drive away with the famous Titanic Museum, our favourite Belfast Food Tour and many many other things to see.

Less than three hours to Dublin for a trip further afield. So much to explore!
