Luzern is easily accessible to all parts of Switzerland is easily within 1-2hours due to its central location, including Italy, France, Austria, Germany.
There are fun enjoyable attractions for the whole family available within walking distance of our home, including boat rides on the Vierwaldstätter See, popular walks near by on the Rotsee, which hosts the international rowing championships in July each year. Plenty of romantic walks through old Lucern town, cafes, pubs, restaurants, mountain Alp walks within 30mins by bus, venturing up Mt Pilatus by either the steepest cogwheel train in Switzerland or by cable car. Children’s activities include plenty of outdoor and indoor activities, including nature walks, the Swiss museum of transport (the Vekershaus,) which includes an IMAX and cinema, planetarium, art museums, outdoor sports, swimming pools, beaches and lake swimming, and entertainments.
