The Whale

Our city apartment is in Walfischgasse (since: The Whale), very central to everything except Schönbrunn castle, it is small (60m2) but functional, we use it for a rest when we are in Vienna or overnight after a concert or theatre/opera performance. It is well reachable from the airport. Public transport is well organized and working in Vienna. The windows you see outside are offices, so nobody is there in the evening. Every city is loud because of traffic, but the traffic there is not very much and is slow. In the night it can be definitely more troublesome, because everything else is so quiet. But we can cope and even sleep with open windows, in other rooms than the bedroom. Shops are nearby. The swap need not be simultaneous. Welcome!
