40 mins to Auckland City, explore the city centre, Skytower, Viaduct and more.
Nearby beaches by the bucket load, we have kayaks and mountain bikes to use and a car to get around in.

December and January are summer months and the sun is generally out, the local beaches are gorgeous and plenty of cafes, restaurants and parks.

We have kayaks you can use to explore the sea and if you are lucky you may spot dolphins or orca whilst you are out.

From our home you can travel west in under an hour to the volcanic black sand beaches or north to explore the more isolated beach areas.
