Privately situated facing the church at the edge of a picturesque village, access is via the gated cherry tree drive and large secluded grounds that lead to the kitchen door. A lovely south facing large terraced pool (10m x 4m) luxurious poolside loungers, comfortable sofa and chairs under a shaded patio with outside dining table, BBQ area and table tennis makes this a relaxing private family space in which to chill out and laze by the pool.

This area of Nouvelle-Aquitaine is a place of quiet leisurely charm, many beautiful villages.

And home to the numerous world famous cognac distilleries in the production of the fine art of champagne brandy since the 1800’s. Remy Martin, and Chateau du Courvoisier, and even small back street distilleries in Cognac to name a few.

Nearby, you can find horse riding, bike hire, canoe and kayaks are available to explore the Charente river. Take a day trip to the beautiful sea port of La Rochelle. Visit the Poitevin Marsh known as the Green Venice situated in the Charente Maritime, a land of dense flora, lush green meadows and natural fauna. Hire a punt and slide silently over the waterways drifting under a canopy of verdant green that forms a vault of trees and foliage.
