Farmhouse, dates from 17th century and recently modernised

An interesting and cosy half-timbered farmhouse, recently updated with underfloor heating and a heat pump.

The large kitchen and dining area has ever-changing views of the Shropshire hills. There is also a cosy sitting area and a separate snug. There are five bedrooms - three double rooms, one twin and one single; and two bathrooms, both with shower and bath.

The garden has a trampoline and climbing frame with a swing. Beyond the garden, there is a paddock which you can explore.

We have two cats, who you may see from time to time. We would be grateful if you could put food out for them. They get along with most dogs, but they might stay away if you have a Greyhound or Jack Russell! We also have one dog, which we would like to bring with us if you`re dog-friendly.

About the location

Peaceful, rural village setting with views of the Shropshire hills. Plenty of walking from the door or a short drive to the Long Mynd, Stiperstones, Wrekin.

There is a bus from the village to take you to Shrewsbury or Ludlow/Church Stretton. Shrewsbury is well connected with a bus and train station.

Shrewsbury is the nearest town, where there are plenty of independent shops, restaurants, theatres and arts, museums, churches and old buildings. National Trust Attingham Park is a 15-minute drive away.
