About the location
The nearest airports to Spiaggia della Baia delle Mimose are ALGHERO (AHO) and OLBIA (OLB).
Unlike the eastern side of Gallura, known for its numerous granite coves, the coastline of Badesi, marking the western edge of Gallura, offers a completely different landscape, with long, wide white beaches. One of the most striking and beautiful examples is Baia delle Mimose, stretching for a full 3 kilometers. It is bordered to the south by the mouth of the Coghinas River and seamlessly merges to the north with its "twin" beach, Li Junchi; both are easily accessible by any means.
"Baia delle Mimose" is surrounded by dunes covered with small junipers and sea roses, while the sand is pure white and the sea shimmers in shades of azure and emerald green. Thanks to the constant breeze, it’s a favorite spot for wind and kite surfers. Due to its size, it never feels overcrowded, even in peak season, making it perfect for relaxing in peace. Looking out to the sea, you can glimpse Isola Rossa in the distance to your right, and to your left, the profile of the Castelsardo promontory comes into view.
