Family home in leafy east London

This is our family home in east London, with a large double bedroom, a kids single bedroom and a third with a cot and single sofa bed. Downstairs is a large study which has a small double sofa bed.

We have a separate kitchen and large living room with dining table, with plenty of books and loads of children’s toys. The house is surrounded by park so very peaceful despite being in the city.

Outside is a paved garden with chairs and table and surrounded by Wanstead flats, part of Epping Forest. A short walk away is another major park - Wanstead Flats. It’s possible to discuss using our bikes or bike storage as well.

Please note that we are mostly only able to offer swaps during school holidays or weekends.

About the location

It is a quiet small road in picturesque and affluent area of east London, on the next road is a small convenience store.

There are larger shops and great restaurants and pubs in Leytonstone, Wanstead and Forest Gate, all 15-20mins walk away or 5 mins by bus. There is a private parking space on the drive, subject to availability with our own car. Parking permits can also potentially be arranged.

We are close to the Elizabeth line station in Manor Park which gets to central London in 20mins. Easy access to Farringdon, Stratford, Liverpool Street, Tottenham Court Road and Paddington on the line. In the other direction are Leytonstone and Wanstead tube stations on the central line.

We are a 30 minute drive from Stansted airport which is the closest to us. Heathrow airport is a quick and direct train on the Elizabeth line to Manor Park. Gatwick and Luton airports can be very easily reached at the interchange with Farringdon onto Thameslink train services.
