Little Moorings
Our home has a large, open plan living room and kitchen with stunning sea views of the English Channel. We have an adjoining office with a bed pod and sea view. We also have a TV room/ snug with a side return for washing clothes etc connected to it. Leading up from the hallway and downstairs bathroom are stairs to two double bedrooms with amazing views. One has an ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom has a recently designed bed pod with desk and coloured lighting! Opposite is a separate bathroom. There is a long, spacious balcony with seating overlooking the sea. We have a terraced garden with three levels, but we generally use the top grassy level that has a trampoline and area to sit and gaze at the sea!
About the location
Sandgate is a very pretty coastal village, 20 minutes walk from Folkestone. It has two wonderful delis and an excellent wine bar, pubs and lovely cafes. There's lots of things for families to do. We have a right of way two minutes from our house down to the beach with a key! At the end of our road is a beautiful coastal park leading to Folkestone where there are many great restaurants and shops to visit. The harbour arm has lots of pop up restaurants, a cinema screen and a champagne bar in the lighthouse at the end! There are many sports facilities and playgrounds too. Other lovely places to visit nearby, are Hythe, Canterbury, Deal & Sandwich. A fast train to St Pancras Station in London takes 51 minutes. The channel tunnel is 15 minutes drive away. Dover is 20 minutes drive, where you can catch ferries to France.
